Owned and operated by Occupational Therapist Julie Ross, who started her career serving clients of all ages nearly twenty years ago, Function First Therapy Services provides client-centered Occupational Therapy services geared at enabling people to become as independent as possible. Whether that is rehabilitating a hand or upper extremity orthopedic condition, regaining abilities lost due to neurological conditions, modifying your environment to improve access and safety to the activities you need to do or want to enjoy, or working with your child to learn the skills necessary to succeed in life, Julie can help! Julie is a graduate of James Madison University, where she received her entry-level OT degree in 2004. She went on to earn her doctorate degree at the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2012. Julie's passion for OT began as a patient in 1999 when she was so inspired by her occupational therapist that she decided to become one herself. She truly understands the unique needs of her clients because she has been in their shoes.
